What is “College & Careers”?

College and Careers (or C&C for short) is a group of young adults who are in college, university, or a work environment who come together to study the gospel and share ideas with each other. We also pray together and encourage one another to live for Jesus each week. The group is overseen by Mark Zijlstra.

When and Where do we Meet?

Currently, we meet at Mark and Kyla’s home in Orangeville every other Wednesday evening. We do our best to fit the schedules of those interested in attending. So we may meet on a different day and in a different place.

What do we aim to do at our meetings?

We’ve studied the books of the bible such as Romans and 1 Peter along with topical studies such as Gospel-Shaped Living, Christian Beliefs: 20 Life Transforming Truths and the Hole in Our Holiness. We recently read through the major and minor prophets using Immerse: Prophets. Now, we are studying Colossians using Colossians: Confident Christianity by Mark Meynell.

We also take time to pray together. Our prayers and fellowship have proven to be a cherished means of growth and encouragement through years of change.
