CALEDON HILLS FELLOWSHIP

Our Leadership

Elders/Pastors

Bill Henderson
Bill is the lead preaching and teaching pastor. With his wife Janet, they have lived in Caledon East since 1988 when CHF was a fledgling church plant. They have two adult children, Will and Whitney, and three Grandchildren, Eila, Arthur, and Charlie. Bill’s post-graduate degree is in theology and he’s passionate about Christ-centered expository preaching and teaching in the service of the church and for the fulfillment of the Great Commission mission. In his spare time, he writes for the church’s Shepherd’s Pie blog. His favourite Bible verse is Romans 11:36. Connect with him by email (chfbc@on.aibn.com) or phone (905-584-9525).

Rick Dray
Rick is a graduate in Civil Engineering at the University of Waterloo (1969) and has attended the church since 1996. His passion is teaching and he always appreciates the opportunity to fill in for Bill. Rick is also on the Board of Directors of Victory House. In his leisure time he loves kayaking, especially at Joy Bible Camp, where he spends a lot of the summer. Rick has been married to Audrey for 51 years and has three children and eight grandchildren who call him Grumpy

Danny Mulhern
Danny has been attending CHF since 1998, where he came to faith in Jesus under the preaching and teaching ministry. He met his wife, Evelyne, at CHF and together they have three young children, Ethan, Elinor, and James. They love the family centered approach to the CHF community of faith and desire to see the body built up in the knowledge and grace of Christ, whether through fellowship, Bible studies, corporate prayer or a shared meal. Currently, Danny is the property manager at the Scott Mission Camp and is working part-time on his MDiv at Heritage College & Seminary.

Mark Zijlstra
Mark has attended CHF since 2011. In October 2020, he married his wife Kyla whom he met at CHF. He enjoys leading the College and Career Growth Group at CHF, and his day job is in automation engineering at a small company in the manufacturing industry.

Deacons

Paul Zijlstra
Paul has attended CHF since 2011 and is a registered practical nurse working on his nursing degree at Humber College. During his studies he works in nursing with the Inner City Health Associates and co-leads the Youth Program at the church with Whitney Henderson. He also enjoys playing his upright bass and singing as a worship team member as well as serving in the sound booth.

Richard Brisby
Richard and his wife Donna, with their four children have attended CHF since 2001. He has been involved in a number of ministries of the church, including teaching, being part of the worship team, and serving in the technical team. Richard wants to see the message of the gospel applied to hearts to mend relationships and bring deeper meaning to life. Richard works as an engineer in the transportation industry, and has many and varied interests.

John Netzke
John and his wife, Allison, began attending CHF as fairly new adult believers in 2002, eager to be taught and keen to serve.  John, a former truck driver and refrigeration operator, is now a semi-retired handyman who enjoys using his tools, pick-up truck and ‘know how’ to help wherever he can.  Known for his love of the desert table at pot-lucks and his strong handshake, John is often found greeting folks at the front door on Sunday mornings.  Between them, Allison and John have 7 children and 12 grandchildren, most of whom call him “Poppy”.

Chris Little
Chris has been attending CHF since 2004. He’s married to Stephanie Mulhern and a proud dad of Ayden, Teagan and Abigail. He gave his life to the Lord just after his mom’s death in 2009 watching how God moved her in ways explainable only through “faith in Jesus”.

Chris has dedicated his life to live for God, lead his family, share the gospel, co-lead our Level Ground ministry to the homeless, and now to help teach as a youth leader. Since 2016, Chris’ family has lived in Caledon where they enjoy their little hobby farm and outdoor activities such as gardening, chickens, and a small family business all blessed by God. Chris loves Jesus’ words: “it is written: that man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
